At Foundation Physiotherapy, we have an interest in retraining athletes of all levels: professional, recreational and casual.
We can help you recover from an injury, prepare for a competition or provide personalized training for your sport. As an athlete, you are likely to endure a lot of challenges outside of your control. Traditional resistance training exercises are poor at preparing you for these challenges. We utilize sport specific exercises to simulate changes in speed, movement, balance and resistance. This better reflects what you experience on the field/court.
As members of Sport Physiotherapy Canada, we have received training in on-field management, playing mechanics and taping. We are also members of the Orthopaedic Division, receiving training in a variety of orthopaedic skills such as manual therapy and active release therapy.
We work with athletes from a variety of disciplines, including dancing, and competitive levels. Please enquire about our specific retraining programs for: running, volleyball, soccer and golf.
