Matthew is a graduate of the University of Toronto where he received both a Masters in Science in Physiotherapy in addition to a degree in Physical Education and Health. Matthew has been in private practice since 2009, where he has experience treating competitive athletes, dancers, weekend warriors, work place injuries, and clients who have been involved in motor vehicle accidents.
Matthew uses a combination of manual therapy techniques in addition to acupuncture and exercise prescription to provide an individualized program to help his clients reach their goals faster. Recently, Matthew has taken a keen interest in post concussion injuries and the growing role of physiotherapy to help reduce these impairments.
Matthew has a special interest in manual and manipulative therapy, having completed his Diploma of Manipulation and Fellowship of the Canadian Manipulative Therapists. In his spare time, Matthew is an avid athlete. He spends his time playing hockey, ultimate frisbee, in the gym, and training for a fast 5k! Always creative, he enjoys trying to creating new exercises for himself and his clients.
